Clearcast has developed a sustainable and responsible approach to business, and we’re always on the lookout for ways to improve things even further.
We started with the simple stuff like moving to First Mile, a zero-to-landfill waste management company and we recycle everything from the usual (paper, cardboard, plastic), to electronic equipment and printer cartridges – in 2017 we saved 8,950 KG of CO2 from our recycling efforts.
We use company oyster cards for business trips in London and have a cycle scheme (and a lot of cyclists) to encourage people to take the most sustainable route in.
Around the office we’ve installed LED lighting and changed to a local, sustainable cleaning company. We use dual screens to cut down on printing and recently reported our energy consumption to Camden Climate Change Alliance. We were awarded with the Going Green certification and our aim now is to reduce our energy consumption and carbon footprint.
