Attribution

Attribution Service for TV

The Attribution service standardises and validates associated data for all BARB reported commercial copy transmitted on UK television and provides attribution for transmissions by UK broadcasters in the Republic of Ireland.
 
Standard codes and names are matched to unique advertisement copy for: product, advertiser, holding company and media agency. This valuable dataset includes a Clearcast copy title, telephone number and any URL information where available. Assigned NMR category information is also made available (to Nielsen Media Research UK clients only).
 
Attribution data is recognised as Industry gold standard and is available on an annual subscription basis. It is extensively used by media monitoring and research companies in connection with spot matching and business-critical campaign reporting and analyses. 
 
Information associated with the sponsorship of programmes for Sky Media, Channel 4, five, GMTV and ITV is now also available.
